A Mountain Lion in the city?!?!?!

We had some excitement this morning only 6 blocks from our house.

I heard about it after it was all over though. In fact, I was sleeping at the time - getting over being sick off and on for the last month (another story in itself - first bronchitis, then food poisoning this week).

A Mountain Lion, yes, a mountain lion was spotted at a nearby elementary school and then later lounging around in a guy's backyard under some plants. Unfortunately, it had to be killed rather than captured. Can you imagine seeing that with your own eyes?
