A Funky, Felted Design

Awhile back I tried out for the first time myInnovations Knitting Machine and ended-up with a piece with mistakes (trying to master the learning curve), but I decided to felt it anyway to possibly make something out of it since it was an interesting piece - that is, interesting for felting. I just kinda went with what I ended-up with and designed this FUNKY money/credit card/cell phone pouch. There just happened to be a loop (that was never planned) in the middle to use with a button for closure. The button is from a set that I bought at a Dollar Tree store.

Christmas Money Purchase

I'd love to have one of those large knitting machines (I've wanted one for YEARS), but I just have no room for one so I purchased this little thing using some Christmas money. I'm not sure I would have purchased one if the money hadn't been available, but I love gadgets so maybe I would have. It's an Innovations Knitting Machine I found back by the knitting looms at Hobby Lobby.

And here's my first completed project on it- A headband. NO dropped stitches - YAY! I used Caron Simply Soft since I read this machine loves it. I wanted to make something small to get the feel of how the machine works. It knits tubes just fine, now I just need to try and make a flat panel with it.
