Couple Of Projects Finished

I just finished a crocheted baby blanket for my second grandson and an "I Spy" toy/game for his older brother - A birthday present.




I just winged the "I Spy" toy after researching what others looked like selling at Etsy.com. I made my own pattern, added some new ideas of my own like a carrying strap, etc. I did pretty much copy the saying word for word though I think from someone, but I won't be selling any so I don't see the harm. In fact, this one will probably be my one and only. I think mine came out really well. I was so happy with it.

Blue, butterfly purse key chain has been ~SOLD~

Some mini, purse key chains that I designed and crocheted earlier this summer and have yet to get them listed in one of my Etsy shops. It's been such a busy summer for me where crafting and Etsy have taken a back seat to gardening. I think it's been pretty slow over at Etsy anyway with the slow economy, but soon Christmas shopping will be in swing - hopefully. Surely I can get them listed by then...



Also waiting to be listed is a set of 4 loom knit coasters and matching napkin ties that should have been listed at the start of summer before July 4th. *sigh*

Been Crocheting Too

I've also been doing some crocheting and hope to get some of it listed in my Etsy Shop soon.

I've been crocheting tiny purse key chains. Pics will come soon after I've listed them in my shop for sale first.

Lately, I seem to post pics here in my blog of things I've made and then never get them listed in my shops. I've gotta get to work...I either need a boss to crack the whip or another person to do all the picture taking and listing, etc. and leave me to just create.

Now, that would be just heaven...

Weaving - My First Completed Project

Using my mini, vintage (1964), plastic rigid heddle loom I wove the cloth for this small pincushion. The making of this pincushion involved weaving, sewing and crochet.
